"Lex, do something!"

"Uh, okay." Lexington put his hands on Bronx's thick neck. "Um. What should I do?"

The gargoyle hound let out a low, sad growl-whine.

"Can't you get him to...maybe he could cough it back up?"

"I don't know, Elisa..." The gargoyle's forehead creased in doubt. "Okay, let me think." Lexington put his fingers underneath Bronx's chin, trying to lower the massive head. "Bronx, you gotta hork it back up. C'mon, boy."

Bronx sank down onto his haunches and whined again.

"Yeah, I'll bet your stomach hurts." Lexington sighed. "Serves you right for swallowing Elisa's brand new iphone!"
